Commissioned portraits are painted using oil colours on high quality stretched canvas and covered with a lacquer varnish for longevity. Commissions are available in 3 main sizes shown below, however larger pictures are available on request and prices start from just £450 including UK delivery.

For all commissions a high-quality digital photograph is required with a 50% deposit payment. For delivery outside the UK please get in contact, you are also welcome to visit my studio in London to collect your commissioned portrait and I am always delighted to meet people in person.

Portrait of Berthe Morisot

This is an 1872 oil painting by Édouard Manet. The painting depicts fellow painter Berthe Morisot, dressed in black mourning dress, holding a barely visible bouquet of violets. Morisot exhibited her paintings in the highly esteemed Salon de Paris.She was part of the group of early impressionists. The painting is part of the collection of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Manet also created an etching and two lithographs of the same composition.as a French painter and a member of the circle of painters in Paris who became known as the Impressionists.
